Caleb Sisak Joins Bravo Group
Healthcare practice adds former Democratic Caucus executive director
HARRISBURG, Pa. (Feb. 23, 2023) — Caleb Sisak, a former Pennsylvania state House and Senate committee executive director, is joining the Bravo Group healthcare practice as a government relations specialist, Bravo Government Relations President Dennis Walsh announced today.
For the majority of his career, Sisak served as executive director of the state House Human Services Committee for the Democratic Caucus. He played a direct role in the development and enactment of policies including the state health insurance marketplace, legislation strengthening the statewide Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP) and newborn screening program, and implementation of the state’s medical marijuana program. He worked regularly with legislative leaders on the development of the Human Services Code as part of the annual budget process. Sisak played an active role in moving legislation and working with agencies on regulations to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic — particularly the Department of Human Services, Department of Health, and Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs. Most recently he served as executive director of the Senate Transportation Committee for the Democratic Caucus.

Earlier in his career, Sisak, of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, was a budget analyst for the state House Appropriations Committee.

Sisak also serves as the Pennsylvania Capital Semester Program instructor and is the organist/musical director for Salem UCC, both in Harrisburg. He has previously worked for a Harrisburg-based lobbying firm, Pennsylvania Legislative Services, the Pennsylvania Heritage Foundation, and the Gettysburg Foundation. He holds a bachelor’s in political science and philosophy from Gettysburg College and a Master's in Public Administration from Shippensburg University.
